Overview: We are looking for an enthusiastic experienced fundraiser with strong digital and offline marketing skills to help us grow our fundraising income, and to promote our new and existing services.
South Kent Mind is a mental health charity, and our vision is for everyone in South Kent to have good mental wellbeing and to live their best life.
As a charity, we rely on fundraised income to run our range of mental wellbeing services, which provide support to people with mental health problems across South Kent. Whilst we already help many people each year through these, and other services, we want to do more to help more people.
In order to achieve this, we wish to increase our fundraising income through growing our existing fundraising steams, developing new fundraising events and programmes creating an annual flagship fundraising event, and seeking corporate funding support from local businesses. We also want to improve and grow our existing digital presence, to ensure more people know about our services, understand the value of the work we do, and therefore may go on to fundraise or volunteer for us.
We are offering with this post a 15 month Level 3 Fundraising Apprenticeship with the University of Kent. The postholder will be accountable to the Grants and Fundraising Lead.
