Peer Support Worker

Days/times: 7 Hours per week

Salary: From £22,357 per annum pro rata depending on skills and experience

Overview: We are looking for a part-time Peer Support Worker to provide recovery-orientated one to one and group-based peer support to people with common and long-term mental health problems. The successful candidate will work with clients to improve their confidence and resilience, reduce social isolation and help them integrate further into the local community, whilst also providing general support for the day-to-day self-management of their client’s mental health.

Location: Various throughout South Kent

Overview: South Kent Mind is looking for a group of keen volunteers to cover stands at events, to fundraise for us at events and in supermarkets and to generally help out with getting our name out into as much of the South Kent community as possible.
