School Workshops

Are you a school that is interested in providing your students with mental health awareness or a mental health-focused activity?

South Kent Mind have been working in schools with children and young people regularly over the past few years, delivering a range of projects, activities, and workshops. As a local charity, we have specialised in addressing the needs of children and young people growing up in the coastal areas of South Kent.

We currently have availability for the following school support.

4-week block of mental health workshops

  • Covering topics such as: understanding emotions, learning to cope with thoughts and feelings, building resilience.
  • 1 session per week (4 sessions total).
  • Class sizes of up to 12 students.
  • Member of school faculty present for safeguarding support.
  • Usually free of charge (enquire for more details).

Bespoke mental health activity

  • Can include a one-off workshop, a practical activity, or a day trip outside of the school.
  • Group sizes of 10-20 students.
  • Member of school faculty present for safeguarding support.
  • Would be costed at a rate dependent upon the activity.
