We are always so grateful for the time, knowledge, experience, and passion that all of our volunteers offer to our service users and staff every week.
Hear what some of our volunteers have to say about their experiences with South Kent Mind.
"As a volunteer with South Kent Mind, I am able to witness first hand through the fantastic work of our staff and the excellent wellbeing activities that we offer – the positive impact that both elements have on our members."
"I enjoy meeting new members for the first time, getting to know them as individuals and listening to their stories."
"As our members embark on their individual journeys towards better mental health, I am proud to be able to play just a small part in this process."

"Having recently become a volunteer for South Kent Mind, I can honestly say I feel proud to be part of such a worthwhile cause. The staff and members have made me feel welcome and I look forward to my time helping with different activities - although my art work still leaves a lot to be desired!"
"By giving up a few hours a week to help others by just talking, laughing, joking, listening, making drinks - it not only makes me feel better but hopefully helps others and I look forward to each session. You're only here once, and by doing something useful in giving up a small amount of your time, it can make a big difference."
