Dogs help motivate us to get out and move – which is great for our physical and mental health!
‘Paws for Mind’ is a fun and friendly sponsored dog walk along Hythe Canal in aid of South Kent Mind, your local mental health charity.
Bring your four-legged friends, enjoy a scenic walk with others, and help us raise vital funds to continue our work supporting mental health.
Whether you’re walking solo with your pooch, with friends, or as a family, you’ll be taking the lead in supporting mental wellbeing in our area.
Meet at the Starting Point at the end of the Royal Military Canal in Seabrook. The closest postcode is CT21 5RS.
Please arrive from 10:15 so you are able to register and collect your dog bandanna.
We will follow the Royal Military Canal from Seabrook to Hythe, where we will turn around at Twiss Road and head back to Seabrook on the other side of the Canal path. The total distance is approximately 4km.
Every penny you help to raise in aid of ‘Paws for Mind’ enables South Kent Mind to provide essential services and groups which support the mental health of our community.
Suggested Sponsorship Goal: £20 per participant, which entitles your dog to a ‘Paws for Mind’ dog bandanna.
For this event, we have set up a JustGiving campaign page specifically for ‘Paws for Mind’ to make the process of fundraising and donating quick and easy to share with friends and family.
We are encouraging participants to set up their own personal fundraising page on JustGiving which is connected to this event:
If you are unable to create your own fundraising page and would prefer to raise cash from your supporters, then please get in touch with us: [email protected] and we can send you sponsorship forms.
Thank you for your generous support, and good luck with your fundraising – we’re look forward to seeing all the dogs in their South Kent Mind bandannas!
