Suicide First Aid Course:

Most popular course for entry level/ first- accredited by City and Guilds of London.

Teaching the theory and practise of suicide intervention skills that can be applied in any professional or personal setting. Gain practical skills and knowledge needed to identify someone who may be thinking about suicide and competently intervene to help create suicide safety as a first-aid approach.

Lite SFA v2

Lite Suicide First Aid Course:

  • For ages 18+
  • Half-day course(4hrs)
  • Available online only
  • Minimum: 6 people, maximum: 16 people

Introductory course designed to raise awareness of suicide prevention.

Gain the knowledge and tools to understand how to prevent suicide and basic skills to help someone with suicidal thoughts.

Young Adult Lite SFA v2

Lite Young Adult Suicide First Aid Course:

  • For ages 16+
  • Half-day course(4hrs)
  • Available online only
  • Minimum: 6 people, maximum: 16 people

Designed for younger people.

Gain the knowledge and tools to understand how to prevent suicide and basic skills to help someone with suicidal thoughts.

Who can become a Suicide First Aider?

This course is ideal for anyone over the age of 18 who is looking to gain the knowledge and skills to spot the signs of suicide, and to be confident to intervene to help create suicide safety as a first aid approach.

What will I learn?

This course will train you as a Suicide First Aider and will give you:

  • Practical skills to spot the signs of people intending to attempt suicide.
  • Knowledge and confidence to support and reassure a person in distress.
  • Tools and techniques to intervene and create suicide safety through a first aid approach.
  • Improved interpersonal skills and enhanced non-judgmental listening.

Our certified Suicide First Aid course is fully accredited by City & Guilds of London and is suitable for individuals and businesses. Once completed, you will receive a certificate of attendance to authenticate that you are a Suicide First Aider.

Course Details

Sessions: 1 day (7 hours).

We also offer a Suicide First Aid Lite course as a 3.5 hour session.

Bookings for an organisation: maximum of 16 persons per session.
