This often meant Rupert found it difficult to socialise but he didn’t lose his appetite for food so he would visit South Kent Mind weekly for a well enjoyed cooked lunch and would stay to watch a film if he felt well enough.
Over his last few years, Rupert had serious physical problems which affected his mobility and so he was unable to visit South Kent Mind as much as he would have liked. But we are certain that Rupert would have been delighted and proud to see his name associated with this venue.
It is Rupert’s legacy to bring joy into our café and to share it with as many people as we can.
