CPD- approved course to provide participants with essential tools and knowledge to enhance their wellbeing and resilience in both their personal and professional lives.
Gain an understanding of wellbeing and resilience, identify stress and burnout. Design personal strategies for wellbeing and workplace resilience. Understand the role of management in employee wellbeing, address confidentiality and collaboration and understand adaptability and continuous improvement.
It is easy enough to get back to work when you are only off for a day or two, but if you are off for a longer period for whatever reason – like having a baby, breaking a leg or more serious illness – it can be daunting to come back and difficult to get back into the swing of things.
The longer you are off work, the more difficult it is, and there may also be things that make a return to work even more challenging, for example, if you have had to take time off through stress, or if you have ongoing health concerns.
In order to ease the transition back into work, many people have found it helpful to make explicit plans about how you can get up to speed.
The toolkits provide an easy to follow framework to assist individuals and their managers/ employers to do this.
The toolkit is divided into three main sections:
This is a 3 .5 hour course, using tutor-facilitated class-based learning, tutor-led group work and audio-visual presentations.
Multi-sector organisations that are dealing with sickness and absence due to work-related stress, private, voluntary and public sector workers, community members, charity organisations and individuals. Individuals who are returning to work after experiencing: burnout, anxiety, stress and depression.
Courses are designed for organisations and each sessions holds a maximum of 16 people.
